R.O.C. Vision Statement:

In 2006, Dr. Paul Thomas, a University of Tennessee alumnus, and his son, Austin, were watching a UT basketball game and envisioned an entire arena of UT fans wearing orange blazers. Hoping to recreate the days when athletes and coaches proudly wore orange blazers to the games, we at R.O.C. have created a collection of classically tailored collegiate wear dedicated to superior quality and value for students and alumni alike. The distinguishing characteristic is the return of the correct shade of orange, reestablishing a rich UT tradition. Each item in the collection features the Real Orange Color, the color that has inspired UT fans for more than 100 years.

R.O.C. Mission Statement:

Our commitment is to provide superior quality collegiate wear in the traditional Real Original Colors of that university and instill a sense of pride and spirit in each piece of collegiate wear. Most importantly, our mission is to give back to the universities a portion of all profits in the form of scholarships and promote positive influence in the community and all who come in contact with R.O.C. to glorify God.

REAL ORIGINAL COLORS: University of Tennessee

In 1889, Charles Moore, a member of the school’s first football team and later the president of the university’s athletic association, chose orange and white as the university’s official colors. The inspiration for his choice stemmed from the orange and white daisies that grew profusely on “The Hill”. In 1892, dissatisfaction among the student body resulted in a vote to dismiss the orange and white colors. However, no other colors were presented as an alternative and orange and white were reinstated as the Real Original Colors of the University of Tennessee. Orange and white have remained the official colors of the university ever since.
